1. Why did you decide to work for CyberAgent?

When I started working for CyberAgent Co., Ltd., the parent company, I wanted to create a huge business. I joined CyberAgent America because it is a start-up company, has a great company culture, a lot of highly capable employees, and also has a lot of financial backing from the parent company. CyberAgent in Japan is a major Internet company. However, CyberAgent America itself is still a start-up, so I believe I can create a lot of business opportunities. Moreover, the company is giving me many important responsibilities.
The other reason is that I believe in the vision of the company "to become a company that is a hallmark of the 21st Century"

2. What is your current job?

I am launching Smartphone game businesses from scratch. I’m in charge of broad fields, planning, directing, human resources, recruiting, and budgeting.
I bear heavy responsibilities for those listed. I think it is very exciting because this business in this growing field is becoming a huge one.

3. What is CyberAgent America’s culture?

The following are my favorite points about the culture:
"Offering an important position to young business person"
"The strong bonds between sister companies"
"A lot of organized business minded people"
A young business person like me can take on an important position and challenge with large budget.
Secondly, if you ever have a question and want to access some information, you are able to reach out to anyone and receive the answer easily by asking people in charge among many businesses owned by CyberAgent.

4. What is your future career vision?

I would like to create an internet service used by one million people.
Also, create services to interest people all over the world.
I can realize my dream at CyberAgent.
There might be many problems along the way, but here I have the opportunity to reach my goals.

5. What kind of business person do you want to work with?

A business person who is creative and can translate his ideas to a product, because we are constantly creating brand-new products and services.
This ability is needed for not only planners, but also designers, engineers, public relations, marketers, and various types of careers.

親会社のサイバーエージェントで5年間働いていたという事もありますが、
日本のみならず世界で大きなビジネスを展開したいと何年も前から考えていました。
サイバーエージェントアメリカに異動したのは、サイバーエージェントがもつ資産と優秀な人材を活かしながら、自分の手で大きなビジネスが実現できる、と思ったからです。実際にとても責任のあるポジションで仕事を任せてもらえています。
「21世紀を代表する会社を創る」というサイバーエージェントのビジョンや企業文化に共感しているというのも大きな決め手のひとつです。

2. 現在の業務内容は?今どんなチャレンジをしていますか?

現在は、スマートフォンアプリ事業をゼロから立ち上げています。企画、ディレクション、人材採用・育成、予算管理など、事業の立ち上げに伴う、幅広い業務を担当しています。責任は大きいですが、これから急激に伸びる市場で、大きなビジネスになると信じているので、とてもやりがいのある仕事です。

3. サイバーエージェントの企業文化を教えてください

「人材の優秀さ」「グループ間の連携の強さ」「若くても重要なポジションを任せる文化」の3点がとても良いと思っています。
まず、私のような若手にも大きな予算を任せてもらい、チャレンジ出来るという企業風土があります。
また、何か困った時や必要な情報がある場合、サイバーエージェントグループ内の多数の事業担当者にすぐに相談する事が出来ます。一緒に働く同僚に、優秀な人間がとても多い点が魅力です。

4. 将来の夢やキャリアビジョンを教えてください

『1億人が使うインターネットサービス』を創りたいと学生の頃から考えています。実現するまで困難が多いとは思いますが、サイバーエージェントアメリカにはそれを実現出来るチャンスがあります。
世界中の人々に使ってもらえるような楽しいサービスを創っていきたいと思っています。

5. どんな人と一緒に働きたいですか?

何かを創り出す、産み出す能力がある方、もしくはそれを実現したい方と働きたいです。いまの世の中に無いものを創っていく、仕掛けていく仕事になりますので、想像力が豊かな方と仕事をしたいです。
これは企画職に関わらず、デザイナー、エンジニア、PR、マーケティング、などあらゆる職種に問われる能力だと考えています。
